12 & 13 February 2010 Whittlesea Country Music Festival	For the first time in the festival's history, Whittlesea and its surrounding suburbs will play host to numerous live music performances at various locations including local pubs and clubs. Entry with wristband (gold, platinum and camping ticket holders) with limited tickets available at the door. 20 & 21 February 2010 Trucks In Action Lardner Park	Trucks In Action is a biennial road transport expo and is the only demonstrating truck show in the Southern Hemisphere. Many of the major truck brands are demonstrating fully loaded on the two nine kilometer test routes surrounding Lardner Park. Each route aims to replicate actual working conditions by incorporating a range of surfaces and gradients. 2010 will see the introduction of a new option where potential purchasers can drive selected rigid trucks. The Prairie Oysters are performing on both days between 12pm and 4pm INFORMED PURCHASES The demonstrations provide an ideal opportunity for prospective truck buyers to compare the performance of various makes and models available in the Australian marketplace. A comprehensive range of trailers and components are also showcased at Trucks In Action. This also assists potential buyers in selecting products and services that best suit their varying conditions. HISTORIC TRUCK DISPLAY An historic truck displayu has evolved to become a focal point of Trucks In Action. The 130 plus historic trucks on display from throughout Australia highlight the important role road transport has played in Australia's developement.. FREE ENTRY A V/Line bus service will run between Drouin Train Station and Lardner Park throughout the day, more details closer to the date. 27 February 2010 Jingellic Showgrounds	Northwest of Albury, Jingellic has a well used and well kept camping ground on the banks of the River, just below the Bridge Hotel. The hotel has amenities to use as well as a restaurant. Jingellic is the perfect place to catch a legendary Murray Cod. Some of the most beautiful Upper Murray vistas are to be found in the Jingellic district. The road running east along the river boasts incredible river and snow capped mountain views. Canoeing is a treat and so is 'border hopping' to Walwa and Tintaldra on the Victorian side of the river. Each year Jingellic hosts its annual show with equestrian and cattle competitions and a great country fair atmosphere for the whole family. For three years running The Prairie Oysters have been delighted to play on the Saturday night in the marquee. The guys have an absolute ball there and encourage people from Melbourne to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings, great people and make a weekend of it.
